I'm Kai Hochow, Online-Marketer (something between E-Artiste and Social Media Master), Media Designer and passioned Backpacker. I studied in Stuttgart and Singapore, published a book on my own now I am passionate about the broad field of digital communication.
I have already built my first websites in my nursery, learned this later as a professional and, more than 15 years later, still have not lost the fascination for digital media. When I'm not working, I discover our beautiful world and document it via Instagram and my personal blog.
Besides my top-skills i have experience in the following fields:
Display-Advertising · E-Commerce · Digital Campaining · Content-Management · Influencer Marketing · Video-Seeding · Project Management
Since December 2017 i work in the field of digital communication and social media for the Daimler brand smart.
As a digital communication manager, I have further developed the content marketing of the traditional brand MAGGI and, above all, expanded it in the field of video content. I was able to implement various digital campaigns, e.g. with the publisher BuzzFeed or with influencers.
Besides to my studies in Stuttgart, I started on a commercial basis as a freelancer autonomously. In recent years, I've done various projects such as creating corporate identity or social media consultancy.
During my internship in the German headquarter in Frankfurt (Department of Marketing Digital Media) I gained insights into a global corporation with a diverse brand world. My duties were mainly in the area of social media marketing.
A semester abroad led me into the modern city state of Singapore. At the world-renowned NTU I attended courses in multimedia production (film editing and digital compositing) and artistic courses such as Creative Thinking and Interactive Public Art & Media.
At Stuttgarter Media University I could deepen my practical experience through the course Online Media Management and broaden my own horizons also by the local exchange.
In my training as a media designer (up 05 | 2010) I was able to gain more knowledge in the technical field. In the subsequent permanent position I was responsible for the screen design for websites and apps and for the technical implementation (HTML, CSS, jQuery) incl. templating for dynamic websites.
During an internship for one year, I learned the basic rules of design and worked on projects such as logo development, flyers and brochures. In addition to designing I was also active in the field of copywriting.
